American Hunt Terrier Puppies

Puppies are born in our house and about 4 weeks old head to the puppy kennel. While in the puppy kennel, they are given lots of socialization by our children and current on all vaccines and deworming.

Puppy Purchase Agreement
hereafter referred to as “Buyer”, for one purebred AHTCA American Hunt Terrier Dog (described below). No verbal Agreement shall be entered.

Seller Agreement:
A. Seller guarantees the above-described puppy to be of sound health and temperament at the time of sale.
B. A health record of all shots and worming shall be provided by the Seller.
C. The puppy is a purebred American Hunt Terrier Dog and can be registered with the AHTCA.
D. If Buyer changes their mind, deposit is Non refundable but can be transferred to another litter up to a year.
E. We will not hold a puppy without a deposit

Health Guarantee:
A. Puppies will have their dew claws removed and their tails tipped. If new owner wants their new puppy to have a shorter tail, deposits must be paid in Full before docking at 3 days old.
B. Puppies will be checked by our vet and a fecal will be done to guarantee a healthy pup.
C. While in our care puppies will be dewormed every 2 weeks and will have been started on their vaccination.
D. Minor health issues, including diarrhea, coccidiosis, parasites, and giardia, are frequently encountered in puppies and are not included in our guarantee. We have taken extensive measures to ensure that your puppy if free from these concerns.
Not Guaranteed: Adult weight, Height, Coat type, Bite, or Breeding ability

Buyer Agreement:
A. Buyer is completely satisfied and waives any and all claims regarding the puppy’s confirmation and outward appearance upon pickup and inspection.
B. The puppy is to be examined by a licensed Veterinarian within 72 hours (not including weekends and holidays) at Buyer’s expense within receipt of the puppy.
1. If, as a result of the examination, the Veterinarian determines the puppy is not in good health, the Buyer shall elect to keep the puppy or return it to the Seller for a refund of the purchase price.
2. If the Buyer elects to return the puppy, the Buyer shall, within 10 days after the date of signing this contract, provide the Seller with a written statement from the Veterinarian that includes a description of the findings of the exam. The Seller may take the puppy to a veterinarian of his choice before refunding the purchase price. If the Seller’s veterinarian determines the puppy is in good health, the Seller is not obligated to refund the purchase price.
C. Buyer agrees that the puppy’s AHTCA registered name shall begin with “Bayou Valley” before the name.
D. Buyer agrees that should it become necessary to place the puppy, the Buyer will notify the Seller before taking such action and give the Seller the first opportunity to acquire the puppy according to terms agreed upon at that time.
E. Buyer agrees to maintain preventative health care of the puppy. This includes prompt medical attention, appropriate inoculations, preventatives for internal/external parasites (heartworm, etc.), proper nutrition, which consists of a high-quality veterinarian recommended (no raw or grain-free) given at regular intervals, and fresh water available at all times.
F. Buyer agrees to make sure puppy is away from public places under vaccination series is complete. Seller is not responsible if puppy contacts Parvo outside of our care
G. If the puppy is sold as Pet Quality, Buyer agrees to have the puppy spayed/neutered.

Delivery
You are more than welcome to pick up your puppy at our home but we will also meet you at a reasonable distance. We charge $2.00 per mile. Shipping can be arranged by Buyer or Seller.
Seller is responsible for all shipping charges and puppy must be paid in full before leaving our kennel.
Seller is also responsible for any injury of said puppy after delivery.
This Agreement is made and signed by both parties to ensure the well-being and protection of this animal. If any part of this Agreement is breached, the Seller is released from any further obligations hereunder. This Agreement is between the Seller and original Buyer and is non-transferrable to a third party.
D. Buyer agrees that should it become necessary to place the puppy, the Buyer will notify the Seller before taking such action and give the Seller the first opportunity to acquire the puppy according to terms agreed upon at that time.
E. Buyer agrees to maintain preventative health care of the puppy. This includes prompt medical attention, appropriate inoculations, preventatives for internal/external parasites (heartworm, etc.), proper nutrition, which consists of a high-quality veterinarian recommended (no raw or grain-free) given at regular intervals, and fresh water available at all times.
F. This is a high drive working line puppy that requires basic obedience skills. Buyer agrees to enroll in and complete, at a minimum, a puppy obedience class and basic on-leash obedience training.
G. If the puppy is sold as Pet Quality, Buyer agrees to have the puppy spayed/neutered between the ages of 18 to 24 months of age. Neutering or spaying before 18 months of age voids this Agreement.
This Agreement is made and signed by both parties to ensure the well-being and protection of this animal. If any part of this Agreement is breached, the Seller is released from any further obligations hereunder. This Agreement is between the Seller and original Buyer and is non-transferrable to a third party.
